COMMERCIAL FOOD EQUIPMENT VETERANS LAUNCH NORTH AMERICAN PARTS AND SERVICE ORGANIZATION
North American Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. to Meet Industry’s Need for Customer-Centered Service

FAIRFIELD, Conn., December 12, 2003 –- Three veterans of the food equipment service industry, with more than 65 years combined experience, announce their launch of North American Commercial Parts and Service, Inc., a holding company of regional businesses that provide parts and repair for food equipment. With two businesses under its operation to date – in Connecticut and California – the company aims to serve major metropolitan markets throughout North America.

"There is a real need for consistent, high quality, customer-centered service in our industry," Wes Tyler, president of North American Commercial Parts & Service, Inc., said. "Our team recognized an opportunity to meet this need by establishing a well-managed network of businesses that consistently provides excellence in maintenance and repair service as well as in parts distribution. While plenty of companies offer one or the other, our total package of quality service and parts – delivered by locals to locals – offers a more efficient and reliable way of addressing customers' equipment needs."

North American Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. operates its regional businesses under their local names. Its first acquisition, A-Tech Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. in Manchester, Conn., services all of New England including Boston, the fifth largest restaurant market in the U.S. North American’s second acquisition, Industrial Electric Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. in Huntington Beach, Calif., services Southern California including Los Angeles, the largest food service market in the U.S.

The management team of North American Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. includes Wes Tyler, president; Tom Klein, vice president, finance; Sam Mazzilli, vice president, operations; and Jim O’Brien, vice president, corporate development. Mr. Tyler is the former president of GCS Service, Inc. Both Mr. Mazzilli and Mr. O’Brien were also key executives with GCS Service. Mr. Klein has served as the chief financial officer of a number of start-up companies since 1988, primarily in biotechnology.

Established in 2003 and headquartered in Fairfield, Conn., the company owns and operates A-Tech Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. in Manchester, Conn., and Industrial Electric Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. in Huntington Beach, Calif.
